I’m Ruban Lawrence, a senior technical consultant and problem-solver with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations understand, stabilize, and improve complex enterprise systems.

My deepest specialization is IBM Cognos Analytics and IBM Planning Analytics / TM1. I have worked extensively with enterprise reporting, analytics platforms, upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, performance issues, security, architecture, documentation, training, and project recovery.

But the broader pattern of my work is larger than any one platform. I step into complex technical environments, understand what is happening, communicate clearly across business and technical teams, and help move important work forward.

Depending on the situation, I can work at the keyboard, lead the technical work, translate between business and engineering, coordinate a team, or help define the practical path forward. Sometimes the work is deep troubleshooting. Sometimes it is project recovery. Sometimes it is helping an overloaded team see the system clearly enough to make progress again.

I also use AI pragmatically where it helps — for analysis, automation, documentation, workflow design, and faster problem-solving. I do not treat AI as a magic layer or a replacement for technical judgment. Used well, it is another tool for making complex work clearer, faster, and more executable.

The goal is simple: clearer systems, better execution, and results people can actually use.
